Banyak klub luar negeri yang tertarik pada pemain Indonesia, Egy Maulan Vikri. Yang terakhir, klub luar negeri yang dikaitkan dengan pemain 17 tersebut adalah PKNS FC. Klub asal Malaysia tersebut siap memberikan gaji senilai 2 milyar rupiah untuk Egy.
Sebelum PKNS, Selangor FA juga disebut-sebut tertarik dengan pemain asal Medan itu. Namun, klub terakhir tersebut telah memboyong dua pemain asal Indonesia yaitu Evan Dimas dan Ilham Udin Armayn.
Mahfizul Rsydin Abd Rashid sebagai pengurus PKNS, mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya lebih perpeluang mendapatka Egy daripada Selangor FA. Ia pun menyatakan kubunya sudah bergerak untuk mendatangkan Egy. Namun sampai saat ini belum ada kesepakatan.
"Memang kami ada usaha ke arah sana (mendatangkan Egy). Tapi sampai hari ini belum ada kesepakatan tercapai," ucap Rashid seperti dikutip Berita Harian.
Dalam laporan yang dilansir laman tersebut mengklaim bahwa pihak Egy sudah mendapat panggilan dari PKNS. Mereka siap memberikan gaji sebanyak RM 616,707 atau setara dengan 2 milyar rupiah.
Egy sendiri punya banyak pilihan untuk gabung dengan klub luar negeri. Klub Prancis, Saint Etinne, juga disebut tertarik dengan pemain Timnas Indonesia tersebut.
