Pelatih Persib Bandung, Mario Gomez mengaku kagum dengan fanatisme Bobotoh yang selalu ada saat Maung Bandung berlaga. Gomez bahkan membandingkan Bobotoh dengan sejumlah fans di beberapa negara yang pernah disinggahi.
Gomez pernah melatih sejumlah klub di beberapa negara berbeda seperti di Italia dan Spanyol. Kini Gomez yang melatih Persib di Indonesia mengaku merasakan perbedaan Bobotoh dengan fans sepak bola lain di dunia.
Pelatih asal Argentina itu menyatakan Bobotoh selalu ada saat Persib Bandung berlaga. Dimanapun Persib tampil, Bobotoh dengan jumlah yang banyak juga selalu hadir.
“Saya sudah mendatangi berbagai negara, banyak negara. Mulai dari Italia, Spanyol, Yunani, Ekuador, Hongkong, sampai sekarang ke Indonesia. Tapi di sini, setiap saya pergi ke mana pun, saya dapati fans Persib, dan jumlahnya banyak, itu yang membedakan, dan itu mengagumkan bagi saya,” kata Mario Gomez dilansir dari Pikiran Rakyat.
“Setiap saat, kami temui banyak fans. Di Yogyakarta banyak fans, di Batam banyak fans, di Jepara juga banyak fans,” kata Gomez.
Mantan asisten Hector Cuper tersebut kini tengah berusaha membuat Persib bangkit. Musim lalu Persib banyak mampu finis di posisi ke-13 klasemen Liga 1 2017. (Siti Rahma – satupedia.com)
